Communion

We welcome all baptized Christians to the Lord's Table.
Children are welcome to come forward for a blessing.
So that no one is excluded, we offer both red wine and white grape juice.

First Sunday of the Month
At the Communion Rail
The ushers lead groups up the side aisles (alternating sides, from front to back).
Each group kneels at the railing to recieve communion:
one wafer and one individual cup of wine or grape juice.
After a blessing and dismissal from the Pastor, each group returns to their pews by the same aisle.

Third Sunday of the Month and Festival Sundays
By Intinction
People walk up the center aisle (both sides simultaneously, from front to back).
Each person stands to recieve communion:
the wafer is placed in the communicant's hand and then the communicant dips (intincts) the wafer in a divided chalice containing both wine and grape juice.
After consuming the elements, people return to their pews by the side aisles.
